As one of Wales' leading Chocolate and Confectionery manufacturers and a VAQAS accredited attraction, The Chocolate Factory is the ideal venue for school trips. We provide a multi-layered education in the art of chocolate production, from its origin across the oceans to a visual explanation of the process of melting it down and remoulding it into bespoke items ready for eating. And, of course, samples for all our visitors!

Our educational school tours are tailored for all age groups, from excitable young school children to  business-focused college students. We cover a wide array of topics like the Geographical origins of cocoa beans and the History of chocolate making to the depiction of chocolate in English Literature and the Science behind the chocolate-making process. The tours can even be tailored to fit the curriculum.

We are offering discounted rates for School Trips! Children come for £5.00 each and teachers for £6.50. Minimum of 25 people, with a maximum of 50-60 (depending on age).

ADVANCED BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL

Visit duration: Visits last approximately an hour. We begin with a 30 minute (approx) talk about chocolate, its origins and history, during which we can cover your chosen curriculum topic,. This is followed by a guided tour of the production area, which takes another 30 minutes, and then concludes with a chocolate tasting.

Shop: We do have a shop, which full of great gifts as a reminder of your visit.
