Easter Family Bushcraft Event for Wales
Set in the beautiful grounds of Margam Country Park , South Wales 4th and 5th April 2010
We are staging a 'Wild Wales Bushcraft and Environment Event' 'Come along and discover the great outdoors', We hope this will be an event that we can grow from this year onwards. The aim of the event is to give families the chance to learn something a little different about their environment and the wonder of the wilderness. The focus of the event will be a series of 'have a go' bushcraft activities run in conjunction with Dryad Bushcraft (our local bushcraft company) added to with a selection trade stands, environment interest talks, walks and stalls.....all aimed towards a family audience.
An average visitor number estimate for Bank holiday Monday is approx 5 000 (with good weather!!) You are invited along to give us a try! We have trade stand space available, all will be on the main lawns in front of the impressive Margam Mansion house, surrounded by the rolling 1000 acres of historic parkland including one of the largest fallow deer herd in Wales...check out our website to find more about the Park itself. www.npt.gov.uk/margampark Access is easy, we are 5 minutes off Junction 38 of the M4. The event will be open to the public Sunday 4th and Monday 5th April, we are happy for traders to come along from the Friday 2nd April onwards to set up stalls and camp onsite .
We would love you to come onboard with us for this new venture...and who knows what may grow!!! A great venue, a great event!!
