Night owls can look forward to an evening of fun and entrainment as the Museum unlocks its doors for the after-hours celebrations. Helping to make the past come to life will be real-life historical characters, live music, storytelling as well as a family film. Hands-on activities will include a code-cracking treasure hunt (prizes to those who crack it), vegetable seed planting and letter press printing. “We’ve had a fantastic response to the event so far and lots of people have booked in,” said Events Officer, Miranda Berry. “It’s proved to be a great way to extend the reach of Museum to more and more people who are eager to come along and experience something a bit different. It’s a fantastic opportunity to experience the collections after hours - an ideal event for the whole family to enjoy.” Places are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Entry to this event is £2 per person. |
