This is the second time the LC has picked up the tourism body's top title, having been awarded the same accolade last year.
The LC saw more than 600,000 visitors pass through its doors in 2009, an increase of 33 per cent on 2008's figure of more than 451,000.
Nic Beggs, LC marketing manager, said: 'It's a huge coup for the LC to be named as Visit Wales's top paid-for attraction in Wales for the second year running.
'Wales has some fantastic attractions, but I think the fact we have succeeded in topping the table once again goes to show that all the hard work that has been put into making the LC the exciting leisure destination it is today has paid off.
'It's great to see our visitor numbers have once again increased this year — it's clear that the LC is now a key fixture on Swansea's leisure map, and it's great to see so many people, both from the city and further field, making the most of our facility.
Although The Edge waterpark once again proved to be the major attraction, the LC's other facilities have attracted a wealth of visitors, including the two full-size, state-of- the-art sports halls, conferencing facilities, climbing wall and four-storey, children's play area.
Mr Beggs added: 'We're always keen to listen to customer feedback, and the fact we've made ongoing improvements to and invested in the facility has definitely gone down well with our customers.
'As well as providing the people of Swansea with a much-needed, value for money leisure facility, we're also helping place the city on the map in terms of our offering to tourists.'
