Tourism Swansea Bay – developing and assisting tourism and leisure businesses in Swansea, Mumbles, Gower, Neath Port Talbot and Aberavon, providing one strong voice.

The background
- Tourism Swansea Bay is a trade association, which currently has over two hundred and fifty members AND the membership still growing!!!

Tourism Swansea Bay was formed in response to Visit Wales, formally the Welsh Tourist Board, adopting a new way of working more closely with tourism operators.

The association has a strong committee and membership base.  The Executive Management Committee is made up of a variety of representatives from core tourism and leisure businesses in the area.  All of which have a wealth of experience in the tourism and leisure industry.  Many of the committee are also representatives with other organisation, such as WTA – Wales Tourism Alliance, SWWTP – South West Wales Tourism Partnership, etc … and as an trade organisation, Tourism Swansea Bay, have regular meetings with both Swansea County Council and Neath and Port Talbot Council, Visit Wales and any other organisations or governing bodies that have an influence on tourism and leisure.

Our Aims – Tourism Swansea Bay are primarily here to represent Tourism and Leisure businesses, not just on a locally but on a regional and national level as the independent voice of the tourism and leisure operators in the area.

We provide business support, training and networking opportunities for all our members, enabling them to be more effective in their business, therefore giving the visitor, tourist, to Swansea Bay a better experience.
