South Wales Aviation Museum was set up to preserve the rich Aviation History in South Wales to inspire the next generation of aviators and engineers. The museum was a vision of Gary Spoors and John Sparks and was created through the dedication of our amazing volunteers.
SWAM is a not for profit organisation and registered charity completely self funded. 100% of the proceeds go to the upkeep and running of the museum and gift shop.
We encourage our visitors to interact with the aircraft and exhibits which enables them to have a fully immersive experience. We have a selection of cockpits open for you to be able to take a closer look at.
We have a vast array of aircraft on display as well as exhibition rooms, gift shop and an onsite cafe.
SWAM also has a conference room and bar which is available for hire
SWAM also hold regular organised visits from schools, cub groups, beavers groups and clubs. If you would like to organise a group visit then drop us an email to [email protected] or give us a call on 01446 789787.”
