Gower Heritage Centre

The Gower Heritage Centre is one of the Gower Peninsula’s most unique visitor attractions, centred around a fully operational 12th-century water-powered flour mill in the heart of Parkmill. Combining history, culture and family-friendly activities, the centre offers visitors a fascinating insight into rural life on Gower while showcasing one of the area’s most important historic buildings.

Visitors can explore the working watermill through guided tours and interactive demonstrations, discovering how grain was traditionally milled for local farming communities. Alongside the mill, the centre features heritage displays, traditional crafts, workshops and artisan businesses that bring centuries of Gower history to life through hands-on experiences and skilled craftsmanship.

More than a heritage attraction, the Gower Heritage Centre is a vibrant community hub offering seasonal events, educational activities, family experiences, a poultry park, tea garden and children’s play areas. Whether you’re looking to uncover the rich history of Wales’ first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, enjoy a family day out or experience traditional rural crafts, the centre provides an authentic and memorable gateway to the heritage of Gower.
