Set in the heart of the Gower Peninsula just west of Swansea, South Wales, the Gower Heritage Centre was established in 1990 as a countryside crafts centre situated in historical and beautiful surroundings. The 12th century water powered corn and saw mill was renovated and experienced crafts people took up residence on site.

Today the centre is recognised as a vibrant crafts and rural life museum that welcomes visitors from all around the world.

RE-OPENING UPDATE

From today we will have further facilities re-opening.

The BakeryCarpark, front tea garden and some craft activities will be open every day. You must pre- book craft activities using the online facility on this website or call the craft workshop direct. The main Tearoom courtyard, tractor and sand pit play areas will be open BUT YOU MUST MAKE A PRE-BOOKING, call 07897201230 or use the online booking system.

Unfortunately we cannot let everyone in without a booking as Government Regulations require us to limit numbers to ensure social distancing.

We will be holding a regular food and produce market each Thursday evening in the outside courtyard starting from 6th August at 5pm.

Our holiday accommodation is not available as it is being used by essential workers for the the rest of the year.
