Llys Nini is an historic farm, now an animal rehoming centre. It is affiliated to but not part of the RSPCA. It is run and funded by local people, it rehomes about 1,000 animals every year and helps another 1,000 animals in other ways.
The Centre is open to the public every day except Wednesdays; Animals can be viewed between 11.00 and 3.45 but the shop, cafe area, trails and playground is open from 9.15 to 5.00.
The Centre houses 250 animals needing new homes, including cats, dogs, ferrets, rabbits, birds and other small mammals.
The grounds have a number of path to walk including a nature trail and a heritage trail. There is a heritage-themed play ground for the under 12s, refreshments and snacks and free wi fi in the Centre and plenty of parking.
Llys Nini’s work is funded through a number of local charity shops and donations of clothes, shoes and household items are always welcome, as are old blankets and towels for the animals.
Family activities are organised throughout the year and can be found on the website.
There is no entry or car parking charge but donations towards the care of the animals is always appreciated.
