Slow Down Project
🎨 Gower Community – Young artists wanted to design Slow Down traffic signs! 🎨
Do you live in Ilston, Parkmill, Perriswood, Pennard, Penmaen, Nicholaston or Lunnon? Are you aged 7+ and excited about making a real difference in your community? We’d love for you to get involved!
Join artists Katie Kneath and Rachael Webb from InspireU Studios at The Gower Heritage Centre for our exciting ‘Slow Down’ community art project a fantastic opportunity for young people to have their voices heard, get creative and help make their community safer.
🚗 Have your say and make a difference!
We want to hear what children think about keeping the roads in their community safe. Young participants will have the chance to share their opinions, talk about their own experiences and turn their ideas into colourful, creative artwork.
🎨 See your artwork make a real impact!
The children’s drawings will be brought together to create a series of bright, eye-catching Slow Down signs for the Ilston community, helping to spread an important road safety message to everyone who drives through the area.
✨ Be part of something that lasts!
This is a wonderful opportunity for young artists to leave their mark on their local community. The finished signs will become a lasting legacy, celebrating children’s creativity, showing that young people’s voices matter and proving that even small ideas can make a big difference!
💚 Ready to get creative and make a difference?
The project is completely FREE to take part in, thanks to funding from Ilston Community Council and Tourism Swansea Bay.
We’d love to hear from young artists aged 7 years and over who want to get involved, share their ideas and help create something special for their community.
